Ancient Egyptian Cupcakes

I love getting unusual cupcake requests and this has to to be one of my favourites. I was asked to make Ancient Egyptian themed cupcakes for our friend’s children and I was so excited. I chose to make fondant toppers shaping them in to pyramids, pharaohs, hieroglyphics and mummies. I aimed to make them as kid friendly as possible using pastel colours and made the pharaohs smiley. I used gold shimmery dust to make a few of them sparkle so they matched the gold cases.
