I can’t say I’ve ever watched a whole (or even half) of a cricket match. It’s definitely not my sport of choice, however, this cake might possibly be one of my new favourites. The cake was for my neighbour’s adorable son Jack who was having a cricket birthday party. This weekend was full of fun and reminiscing. It started by returning to my past school to see my friend’s youngest brother give his end of year speech as Head Boy at Summer Meeting. It was brilliant being surrounded by familiar faces and reliving all my school memories. We wandered around all the old classrooms, which all smelt bizarrely the same. Especially the science block, ugh. I was particularly pleased to come across some kids piping cupcakes in the Food Tech kitchens.
