Notes from Nashville

IMG_2259

Back in November Lauren, Steve, Alexia and I took a little two-part trip to Nashville and then New York. We had been to Nashville before so left out most of the classic places to visit such as the Ryman and Country Music Hall of Fame. Our adventure to Nashville was purely based on our love of the TV show with the same name. We went to visit some of our favourite locations from the show such as the Blue Bird Café, went to see the cast film a few scenes and explored some good places to shop, eat and drink. Nashville was full of pockets of really great cool places. We discovered Pinewood Social on the last night – a huge space with a relaxed vibe and it’s own bowling alley and Crema, a nicely designed coffee shop with a really good latte. Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkins_Afternoon_Crumbs_01 As it was the weekend before Halloween, Alexia and I decided to go to our local farm to carefully select a few pumpkins, frolic in the fields and of course take a few photos along the way. Stylist Live is basically Stylist Magazine come to life with great talks, fashion and food. My Mum, sister Lauren, friend Shereene and I got there early and within the first few minutes of arriving I had a glass of Prosecco in one hand and a Lindt ball in the other. Not a bad breakfast. We headed straight for the awesome photo backgrounds to snap a few photos under the Stylist logo. The pink balloons were my fave, mostly because they matched my drink. We then wandered

Kahaila

A little while back now Alexia and I visited A Most Curious Wedding Fair. We had a fun day out wedding planning and getting inspiration from all of the cool exhibitors. I loved seeing all the creative cakes, alternative bridal outfits and the amazing flower arrangements. Head over to her blog to see some of the cool and quirky wedding suppliers we saw on the day. Afterwards we decided that instead of having a proper lunch we would skip straight to coffee and cake. The perfect spot was only a short walk away. Kahaila is a café on Brick Lane that
